When using your Golf Driver remember to tee it up way up. How high should you tee it up? It's an important question all golfer should know before teeing it up. You should consider that the ball needs to make solid contact with your club-face. The tee height is typically dependent upon the face of your golf driver or wood. Example is tee height for your driver, depending on head size, should be placed in a higher position. The driver face should meet a point on a ball that is approximately 2 thirds of the ball height. By doing this it allows the sweet spot of your driver face to connect with the center of the ball. It also keep the driver head off the bottom of the ground in order to maintain top swing speed throughout the shot, most importantly, at the moment of connecting with the ball.
This will help in you hitting the ball for more distance and accuracy. What your trying to accomplish by teeing it way up is to make you feel like your tee is your launch pad for your driver. When using a tee for your woods, use the same principles as you for your driver. Remember 2 thirds of the ball height. So to hit the sweet spot. Hope this little tip helps you with those over-sized driver heads.

Golf Drivers come in all different kinds of shapes and sizes. Just a little insight of how manufactures go about making driver head. They dip the club head that there working on into a bucket of water that is on a scale. Then they smoothly fill concavities with clay, to determine it's volume by how much it weight, it is determined in grams of the water it displaced. This is the same method the USGA uses to determine club head size conformance.
When looking for a driver you will notice not all drivers come in the maximum head size limit of 460 cubic centimeters. Volume can vary across lofts, with the highest lofts typically being the largest. In doing this sometimes stretching volume can mean compromise other aspects of the club head. This can also hurt better player because, they generally hit the ball in the center of the club. Large faces take up a lot of weight and pull the center of gravity forward. Smaller faces save weight that can be used in back of the club for to give more distance.
Here are just a few of the golf manufactures drivers and there volume: Wilson smooth 444cc, Cleveland launcher 460cc, Titleist 909d 452cc, Ping G10 460cc, Cobra L5V 460cc, Adams speedline 454cc, Callaway FT-9 456cc, TaylorMade R7 limited 434cc.
