The Hybrid clubs are a beautiful thing. You almost play them from any lie on the course, even if you ball is in a divot or hole. If you use Hybrids correctly the sole of the club helps prevent the clubhead from getting stuck in the ground. Most golfers have a tendency to try to dig the ball out of almost any lie, and the result is usually a steep swing and poor contact. When using Hybrids you want to let the clubhead glide through the ball, to hit the ball solidly, feel as if your shoulders are level as the club swings through impact. That feeling of swinging a hybrid club at the bottom will let you be as level as possible. Don't let your lead shoulder be lower then your trailing shoulder, the club will then dig.
There are some excellent Hybrids on the market today. One of the most popular is the one we see in commercials called Bobby Jones. It has a thin hosel witch help lower the center of gravity and features a notch that allows the lie and face angle to be adjusted. Being able to bend the hosel for different lie and face angles on a hybrid is new thinking other companies will soon copy. this is what makes the Bobby Jones Hybrids so unique.
Amazing when you hit balls right on top of each other swing after swing. It's incredibly easy to get the ball in the air.For such a small head, you can really work the ball any way you like. Performance of these clubs gets a very high rating from me. Also looks great to.
