A composite part in the crown is planned to lower the center of gravity to help a golfer launch the ball high. The frame is broader heel to toe and deeper front to back than the D2 and D3. The design is to better constancy on off-center hits. The milled face insert boasts a dense internal trapezoidal ring in the middle to sustain speed across the face.

What we liked about this club is the muy bueno. I actually liked the weighting of the club coming down. You deffenitly won't have to force the ball into the air it goes goes. It's a neat way to get into a players driver. We were stunned at the forgiveness.
Does not balloon or bend, even on toe and heel hits. There is extended distance here. For the size of the clubhead, it has an amazing feel to it.

Whats Hot: Even though it says Titleist, do not imagine it calls for a tour card. This driver has one of the highest MOIs of any driver we examined. It has the most normal shape we have seen. High marks for coming down on the price from last years model $100.
Whats Not: However, at this price we would like to see an adjustability component.
